The rejuvenation treatment took place at the French Chantier Naval shipyard in Marseille. The modernization of the 252-meter-long ship included upgrades to the technology, cabins, new restaurants, and expanded entertainment.

Specifically, all guest cabins were redesigned, and the color scheme was updated to light, modern tones. New chairs and sofas give the balcony cabins a modern look. To create more options for families, some cabins were expanded from three to four-person occupancy. Six new, spacious family-friendly suites with private sun decks were created at the stern. It's worth mentioning that suite guests also have access to new exclusive retreats – the Sky Deck and the Rossini Lounge.

New restaurant and bar concepts offer an expanded culinary offering. French specialties are offered at the new French Kiss restaurant or the French Kiss Bar & Bistro, guests can experience Asian cuisine at East Fusion, Spanish snacks are served at the Tapas Bar, and seafood dishes are served at the Yacht Club Restaurant. The Panorama Bar, Ice Bar, Tokyo Bar, and Lanai Bar have been added to the bar area.

The Theatrium was given backrest seats surrounding the stage on Deck 9. The color scheme was revised and harmonized. State-of-the-art sound, lighting, and stage control technology was installed for an even more immersive show experience.
The spa area was completely renovated, the children's and youth area underwent changes, as did the outdoor sports deck, where a fun park was created.
The AIDAdiva underwent various technical improvements. These include a modern reverse osmosis system for producing its own freshwater from seawater. An innovative solid waste processor shreds waste and reduces its volume by up to 95 percent. The ship's underwater area received a state-of-the-art, biocide-free coating that significantly reduces frictional resistance. Furthermore, the entire IT infrastructure was redesigned.
On March 23, AIDAdiva embarked on a one-week inaugural cruise. Two more Mediterranean cruises will follow before the ship moves to its summer cruising grounds in the north. From November 10, 2025, to March 23, 2026, AIDAdiva will embark on a world cruise.
