Carnival Legend is coming to Europe in summer 2026


January 18, 2026 – Carnival Cruise Line will relocate the Carnival Legend to Europe in the summer of 2026. The ship is part of the company's fleet of 29 vessels. The ports of embarkation and disembarkation for the European season are: Dover and Civitavecchia near Rome.

The series kicks off on May 24, 2026, with a 14-day transatlantic voyage from Miami to Dover. From there, a total of nine cruises will follow, with destinations in Northern Europe, around the British Isles, and heading towards the Mediterranean.

Among the itineraries departing from Dover is a 13-day voyage to Iceland with stops in Belfast, Stornoway, and Reykjavik, among other destinations. The return journey also includes a stop in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. Another 11-day voyage departing from Dover is a trip to France, Spain, and Portugal, with calls at Le Havre, St. Peter Port on Guernsey, Vigo, and Lisbon. A highlight of this itinerary is a day spent at sea observing a solar eclipse on August 12, 2026.

In the Mediterranean, the Carnival Legend operates from Civitavecchia. Six 10- and 13-day cruises in the western and eastern Mediterranean are scheduled from there, including itineraries with stops in Kusadasi, Istanbul, Athens, and Naples.

The season concludes with a 15-day transatlantic voyage from Civitavecchia to Tampa, Florida, departing on November 1, 2026, returning to the USA. The itinerary includes stops in Cartagena, Málaga, Gibraltar, and Bermuda.
