The solemn baptism ceremony
On 4 June 2025, a new chapter in the history of the nicko cruises Danube fleet began in front of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Melk Abbey: To the applause of partners, crew and guests, the newly modernised MS CELINA officially christened with her new name. The godmother was Celina Bejan, daughter of long-time Danube cruise director Birgit Bejan – a personal symbol of continuity and family spirit at nicko cruises.
