September 11, 2023 - The MS Hamburg is without a doubt Germany's smallest ocean-going cruise ship. On December 4, 2023, MS Hamburg will set off from Santiago de Chile on three spectacular cruises towards Antarctica.
The Bremen operator Plantours Cruises is organizing three spectacular cruises lasting 19, 16 and 29 days. The 144 meter long ship offers a maximum of 400 passengers an appropriate place to stay on the high seas. The shipping company only has the MS Hamburg available for ocean cruises. The company is fundamentally faced with the challenge of finding interesting and exciting routes. And the three routes have it all.

The Antarctic season starts in Santiago de Chile for a 19-day trip. The journey takes you along the west coast of South America, through the Chilean fjords and the Strait of Magellan to Antarctica. The trip ends in Ushuaia/Argentina.
The next cruise lasts 16 days. It leads from Ushuaia to the Falkland Islands, to Antarctica and back to Ushuaia.

The third and, at 29 days, longest trip starts again in Ushuaia and first leads to Cape Horn. Antarctica, South Georgia and the island of Tristan da Cunha are then on the route list. The cruise ends in Cape Town/South Africa.
The flights from/to Germany are included in the travel price for the three Antarctic trips. And it is understood that landings will be made using on-board Zodiacs.
