May 27, 2025 – Experience 365 days of Caribbean sun: In 2027, MSC Cruises will be stationing the MSC Opera For the first time, a ship will sail year-round in the Southern Caribbean. From November 2026 until summer 2027, the Opera will sail either in La Romana (Dominican Republic) or – from April 2027 – additionally in Fort-de-France (Martinique).

What's new in 2027?
- Year-round presence: For the first time, an MSC ship will also call at the Southern Caribbean during the summer season.
- Two ships in winter: In the 2026/27 winter season, MSC Opera will be operated by MSC Seaview accompanied – a strong duo for even more choice.
- Flexible routes: 7-night cruises can be combined into 14-night “butterfly itineraries” – a different island line-up each week.
