Karl WP Beyer December 6, 2023 - Three days ago, MEYER Werft recorded a memorable event that will go down in the company's history. It was in Bremerhaven Carnival Jubilee handed over to Carnival Cruise Line on the scheduled date. The Carnival Jubilee is the first ship developed and built in Papenburg for the American world market leader.

With the Carnival Jubilee, MEYER Werft delivered a particularly innovative cruise ship to Carnival Cruise Line. The new building is 345 meters long and 42 meters wide. With double occupancy, the ship offers space for 5374 passengers. It is a cruise ship designed for US needs. The Carnival Jubilee offers its guests a wide range of entertainment and numerous restaurants. The two highlights on the upper deck are the “Ultimate Playground” with a water park including large slides and the unique “BOLT” roller coaster. Both are ideal equipment for warm sailing areas such as the Caribbean.

The Carnival Jubilee is an Excel class. Sister ships are the Carnival Celebration and the Mardi Gras. Carnival Jubilee's home port is Galveston, Texas. The new building will undertake its maiden voyage on December 23rd.
