Karl WP Beyer May 30, 2025 – Mein Schiff Flow – the second newbuild of the InTUItion ship class – has successfully floated out of the dry dock of the Italian Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone.
The shipyard's priest, Roberto Benvenuto, traditionally blessed the ship with prayers and holy water after the floatation. Furthermore, the shipyard's godmother smashed a bottle of Prosecco against the hull of the Mein Schiff Flow. This Italian custom is performed to invoke good luck for the ship and all those who will sail on it during the floatation.

Present in an official capacity were Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises, and Cristiano Bazzara, Director of the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone. Ms. Meier explained that guests will be able to experience the Mein Schiff Flow in summer 2026.
