Nicko Cruises promises itself and its international guests a flawless cruise experience with the aforementioned translation software from BMS Audio GmbH, Crailsheim, even in exceptional cases where a city guide isn't available in the respective language. How does this work? DThe guide speaks into a transmitter connected to the AI-supported software. With minimal delay, the guide's presentation is transmitted to the tour guests via a Sennheiser audio system in various languages, including English, French, Spanish, and Italian.
The company hopes this offering will strengthen international sales and improve service for its international guests. The technology is currently being tested on four river ships in its European fleet, on routes frequently booked by international guests.
