Stage 1: From Tahiti to Valparaíso
On January 4, 2025, an 18-day trip to Valparaíso in Chile started from Papeete/Tahiti. Along the way are the Pitcairn Islands, Ducie Atoll and Easter Island with its famous stone statues. After a few days at sea, the cruise ship reaches Robinson Crusoe Island, which belongs to Chile. The island served as a template for the world-famous story. The trip ends on day 18 in Valparaiso, the cultural capital of Chile.

Stage 2: from Valparaíso to Montevideo in 23 days
On the second stage, starting on January 21, 2025, the VASCO DA GAMA will pass the glacial and fjord landscapes of Chile up close. The focus of this trip is culture and nature experiences. Destinations include the Strait of Magellan Punta Arenas, the Tierra del Fuego region Beagle Channel, Cape Horn and one of the Falkland Islands. Following Puerto Madryn and the Argentine seaside resort of Mal del Plata. The journey ends beautifully Montevideo in Uruguay.

Stage 3: breathtaking flora and fauna along the coast of Brazil
This section begins on February 12, 2025. The first targets are the Brazilian cities Punta del Este, Porto Alegre and Itajaí. Next destination is Paranagua. Tour participants have the opportunity to get to know the Iguaçu Falls as part of a two-day excursion. Also on the route are the city of Santos, the island of Ilha Grande and Paraty in the Serra da Bocaina National Park. This leg of the journey ends in Rio de Janeiro.

Stage 4: From the east coast of Brazil to Tenerife
On February 26, 2025, the ship will leave South America for Europe. Individual destinations on this stage include the Brazilian cities of Búzios, Vitória and the UNESCO World Heritage city Salvador de Bahia, To Recife and Fortaleza begins the Atlantic passage.
