2026 will bring a whole wave of new ships to the market. From innovative mega-ships with spectacular leisure areas to elegant, small luxury vessels: Cruise lines are expanding their fleets in almost every segment. Whether for family vacations, exploration trips, or exclusive getaways – these new ships are setting new standards..

TUI Cruises: “My Ship Flow”

The second ship in the InTUItion class will embark on its maiden voyage in July 2026. The "Mein Schiff Flow" will initially be deployed in the western Mediterranean, before longer cruises to Africa and around the world begin in the autumn. From November, eight-day itineraries to and from Dubai or Doha will be offered.

On board there are 17 bars and lounges, a large spa, a gym, and a 25-meter outdoor pool. The theater offers daily shows.

Royal Caribbean: “Legend of the Seas”

Royal Caribbean is adding a third ship to its Icon class. The "Legend of the Seas" will set sail from Barcelona in summer 2026, and in winter it will offer Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, including CocoCay.

On board, guests will find a large water park, a 40-foot FlowRider, a variety of shows, and numerous restaurants. The ship can accommodate 5628 guests.

Norwegian Cruise Line: “Norwegian Luna”

The "Norwegian Luna" will set sail from Miami for the Caribbean in March 2026. With its slides, water parks, and numerous family areas, this Prima-Class ship is especially geared towards active vacationers.

Attractions include the hybrid “Aqua-Slidecoaster” and the ten-deck-high free-fall slide “The Drop”.

MSC Cruises: “MSC World Asia”

In December 2026, another new World-Class ship, the "MSC World Asia," will be launched. The ship, with space for 6.758 guests, will be deployed in the Mediterranean.

The entertainment options are extensive: from the family area "The Clubhouse" to the immersive Luna Park Arena and the 50-meter-high Cliffhanger water swing. In addition, there are water parks, slides, a high ropes course, and promenades with shows and restaurants.

Explora Journeys: “Explora III”

With the "Explora III," the luxury brand of the MSC Group expands its fleet. All 463 suites feature terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and high-quality materials. The Owner's Residence even offers a private infinity pool.

From summer 2026, the routes will lead from Southern Europe via Northern Europe and Iceland to Quebec, later to the east coast of North America and the Caribbean.

Accor: “Orient Express Corinthian”

Accor, together with Chantiers de l'Atlantique, is building the world's largest cruise sailing ship. The 220-meter-long "Orient Express Corinthian" is designed to sail solely on wind power under ideal conditions.

Fifty-four suites of approximately 70 square meters each are planned, not to mention the 1.415-square-meter presidential suite. The first season will run from May to October 2026 through the Mediterranean and later to the Caribbean – a total of 35 destinations are on the itinerary.
