May 08, 2022 – On Saturday, May 7, 2022, the time had come: The cruise ship AIDAaura started as the 12th ship in the AIDA fleet from Hamburg on a 14-day journey to Scotland and Ireland. In addition to the impressive nature adventures of the Scottish islands, two-day stays in Killybegs (Ireland) and Dublin await the guests.

The small natural harbor of Killybegs is the perfect starting point for excursions to unique coastal landscapes in north-west Ireland. In Dublin AIDAaura stays overnight. This gives guests the opportunity to explore the capital of Ireland extensively.
Captain Carsten Waetge and his crew are looking forward to the guests and this trip. After a stay in the shipyard in April, they have used the past few weeks intensively to prepare the ship for the guests.
