From November 13 to December 1, 2024, the AIDAnova will not only receive technical upgrades and routine class and maintenance work during its 2,5-week stay, but also a comprehensive makeover in many guest areas.

Culinary novelties on board
The family restaurant Fuego on deck 16 is about the Best Pizza@Sea Here, guests can enjoy oven-fresh pizzas and other favorite Italian dishes. With the Best Pizza@Sea, a popular classic from AIDAbella, AIDAdiva and AIDAluna is moving to a newer generation ship.
The way food is Eisbar on deck 8 is being upgraded: an additional counter offers space for over 20 homemade ice cream creations. Guests can enjoy their favorite ice cream right there or take it home in a waffle cone.
Improved comfort and fresh look
To make your stay on board even more pleasant, extensive modernization and beautification work is being carried out. In the guest cabins and numerous public areas, upholstered furniture is being reupholstered, mattresses are being replaced, and new flooring and tiles are being laid.
Technical upgrades for greater efficiency
The efficiency of the technical systems is being optimized through various measures. These include the modernization of the electric Azipod drive, updates to the IT system and the installation of water-saving tunnel washers in the on-board laundry. In addition, the AIDAnova is receiving a new coat of paint over 31.000 square meters. The above-water area from deck 3 to deck 6 is being completely repainted.
Start of the Winter Wonderland season from Hamburg
Immediately after the shipyard stay, AIDAnova begins its Winter Wonderland season with trips from and to HamburgWhether Christmas shopping in metropolises like London, Paris and Amsterdam or visiting Advent markets in Copenhagen and Oslo – a festive atmosphere is guaranteed, both on land and on board.
On board, guests can expect Christmas coziness with an après-ski feeling, curling and Christmas huts, which complete the AIDAnova's winter wonderland. The 7-day trips can be ideally combined to form a two-week break. The AIDAnova will remain a regular guest on the Elbe until April 2025 and will head to destinations in England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway on a weekly rotation basis.
