The Carnival Firenze sails three to seven day tours to Catalina Island, southwest of Los Angeles, and along the Mexican west coast. In order to create the right holiday feelings, the ship will represent the “Carnival Fun Italian Style”. In order for this to be successful, significant changes will be made to the design of the ship. The atrium is modeled on the cathedral square in Florence, greetings from the Piazza Duoma there; the Lido deck is reminiscent of the Italian Riviera. Some of the diverse dining options also exude Italian flair. Notable are La Strada Grill or Il Viaggio, Carnival's newest specialty restaurant. The restaurant reflects the different culinary regions of Italy on its menu. Not forgetting the Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, one of the tried and tested establishments on Carnival ships.
Carnival celebrates Costa Firenze as a true masterpiece of Italian culture and lifestyle, offering passengers an unforgettable experience at sea. Active guests cavort in the WaterWorks and SportSquare areas. The latter boasts a ropes course, jogging path, mini golf course and an outdoor fitness center.
