November 29, 2023 - Fans of the premium brand Celebrity Cruises have reason to book Alaska trips on three of the brand's cruise ships in summer 2025. One of the ships, the Celebrity Edge, will then travel to Australia, New Zealand and the South Seas. The cruises can be booked now.
In the summer of 2025, the Celebrity Edge, the Celebrity Solstice and the Celebrity Summit will depart from three departure ports to Alaska, the northernmost state in the USA. Starting points are Seattle, Vancouver and Seward. The Alaska cruise season begins in early May and lasts until mid-September.

The Celebrity Edge, the first ship and namesake of the Edge class, is based in Seattle. The eight-day Alaska tours take you through the pristine Endicott Arm Fjord, to the Dawes Glacier, to Ketchikan, to Juneau, Skagway at the end of the Inside Passage and Victoria in British Columbia. – Eight-day Alaska cruises are also offered by the Celebrity Solstice and the Celebrity Summit. Both ships depart from/to Vancouver (Canada) or from Vancouver to Seward (Alaska) or vice versa. Highlights of the trips include the Hubbard Glacier, the Inside Passage and visits to Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Sitka and Icy Strait Point.
Down Under and South Seas trips
The Celebrity Edge will be going on cruises Down Under following its Alaska trips in 2025/26. The ship will sail on various 2025- to 2026-day itineraries in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific from early November 5 to late April 15. The main departure ports are Sydney in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand.
Celebrity Edge visits Newcastle, Brisbane, the Whitsundays Islands and Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland on her XNUMX-day cruises. She stays in Cairns (Yorkeys Knob) for two days. The ship's guests are offered excursions to both the Great Barrier Reef and the tropical rainforest. The Celebrity Edge's program also includes several five and six day cruises from Sydney to Tasmania.
Celebrity Cruises' New Zealand cruises cover the North and South Islands. The Milford, Dusky and Doubtful Fjords are located along the way. Destinations also include Christchurch, Napier and Picton.
The South Pacific route leads from/to Auckland to Suva and Lautoka (Fiji), to Apia (capital of Samoa) and to Pago Pago, the capital of American Samoa on the island of Tutuila. During this journey, the Edge crosses the date line twice.
Transpacific cruises via Hawaii and French Polynesia
On September 19, 2025, the Celebrity Edge will embark on a two-part transpacific voyage. From Vancouver we first go via Victoria (British Columbia) and Astoria (Oregon) to Hawaii. Hilo (Big Island) and Kailua-Kona (West Coast of Big Island) await guests. The spectacular Na Pali Coast (Kauai) is also visited. The cruise ends after 13 days in Honolulu (Oahu, Hawaii).
The second leg begins on October 1, 2025 in Honolulu and leads to French Polynesia. The islands of Moorea (two day stay), Papeete on Tahiti and Raiatea (second largest island of the Society Islands) are visited here. We continue across the date line to the north of New Zealand with stays in Tauranga, Auckland and the Bay of Islands. On day 21, Celebrity Edge arrives at its home port for the 2025/26 season: Sydney.
After the end of the Australian season, two transpacific cruises are on the program again. On April 20, 2026, the Celebrity Edge will set course from Sydney towards New Zealand's north coast with stops in the Bay of Islands and Auckland. Then we head across the date line to French Polynesia. The destinations here are Raiatea, Papeete and Moorea. After 18 days the ship reached Honolulu in Hawaii).
The second part of the Pacific crossing starts on May 7, 2026 in Honolulu and ends ten days later in Vancouver. Highlights of this cruise include Hilo and Kailua-Kona on the Big Island. The ship will be in Hilo for two days.
