August 16, 2023 – Premium cruise line Celebrity Cruises is expanding in the Caribbean for the winter of 2024/25. The result: four ships, more than 40 new itineraries and Port Canaveral as an additional home port.
Caribbean cruises are very popular during the cool winter months. Celebrity Cruises, which is part of the Royal Caribbean Group, has just announced that it will intensify its commitment in the American and European winter with four ships. With the Celebrity Apex, one of the younger and most modern ships is used together with the proven Celebrity Summit from Port Everglades. The Celebrity Equinox departs Port Canaveral for the first time. The Celebrity Constellation departs from Port Tampa Bay for cruises to Caribbean destinations.
Port Everglades-Fort Lauderdale
The shipping company offers more than 40 new routes. The future Caribbean program includes diverse experiences. Short trips, one-week cruises and ten-day tours are offered especially for the American clientele. Cruise ships call at tropical destinations such as Belize, Bimini, Grand Cayman and San Juan, among others. Visits to the private island of CocoCay in the Bahamas are very popular with families. The island is reserved exclusively for guests on ships belonging to the Royal Caribbean Group.
Port Canaveral
For the first time ever, the Celebrity Equinox to cruise from Port Canaveral east of Orlando from November 21, 2024 to April 19, 2025. The mostly eight-day trips lead to the Bahamas Belize, Grand Cayman, Mexico, San Juan and St. Maarten. The program includes 20 different cruises.
Port Everglades
From Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale) two ships set sail with the Celebrity Apex and the Celebrity Summit.
The Celebrity Apex operates five new routes between October 23, 2024 and March 8, 2025. The seven and eight day cruises lead to destinations such as St. Maarten, San Juan, Grand Cayman and Mexico.

The Celebrity Summit will operate five new itineraries through the western and eastern Caribbean from February 25 to April 10, 2025 (duration: six to ten days). Some of the trips include a visit to the private island of CocoCay.
Port Tampa Bay
Also the less important Port near Saint Petersburg on Florida's west coast Tampa Bay is part of Celebrity Cruises' Caribbean program. Departing from Tampa, the Celebrity Constellation will operate seven- and eight-day cruises on four new itineraries. A total of fourteen cruises will be offered between January 2nd and April 6th, 2025. Individual destinations are Belize, Honduras, Key West, Mexico and New Orleans.
All new Caribbean itineraries are bookable from August 22, 2023.
