November 5, 2024 – The premium cruise company Celebrity Cruises is already preparing for the 2026/27 season. The company has eight ships stationed in Europe, including three ships of the newer Edge class. The route list includes more than 100 European destinations.
One of the eight ships is the highly anticipated Celebrity Xcel, the fifth ship in the Edge class. Celebrity Xcel will enter service in the fall of 2025 and will complete its first season in the Mediterranean, Portugal, the Canary Islands and Morocco in 2026. The offer includes eight to twelve-day cruises from Barcelona and Piraeus (Athens). – The first voyage begins on May 11, 2026 with an eleven-day cruise from/to Barcelona. Destination ports are Cadiz, Lisbon, Funchal on Madeira, Tangier (Morocco) and Palma. This route will be offered four times during the summer, each time with an overnight stay in Funchal.
Friends of transatlantic travel are recommended to take the first Atlantic crossing of the Celebrity Xcel. The trip starts on April 26, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale and goes via Bermuda, Ponta Delgada (Azores), Lisbon and Palma de Mallorca to Barcelona.

Celebrity Apex
The Celebrity Apex will continue to operate in Southampton and from there undertakes cruises to Scandinavia. However, the Edge-class ship will travel south to Portugal, Spain and the Canary Islands several times. A highlight is the cruise starting on August 1, 2026. The 15-day trip to Spain and Portugal will focus on the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026. On this day, the Apex will visit La Coruna in Galicia.

The Celebrity Ascent is touring the Eastern Mediterranean. She is stationed in CivitavecchiaThe offer includes a variety of eleven and twelve day cruises through the eastern Mediterranean. The destinations are Greece, Turkey, Montenegro, Croatia and Italy. Numerous overnight stays are planned in Istanbul.
Celebrity Constellation
The Celebrity Constellation’s departure ports are Ravenna and Civitavecchia. The individual destinations of the eleven and twelve-day cruises are Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar (Croatia), Kotor (Montenegro) and Sicily. Not forgetting Salerno and Livorno, both with two-day stays.
Celebrity Eclipse
The Solstice-class ship will initially depart from Amsterdam for 8- to 13-day Northern Europe cruises. In September and October 2026, it will then sail in the Mediterranean. The departure ports are Piraeus and Ravenna. Individual destinations are Santorini, Rhodes and Mykonos in Turkey (Kuşadası with Ephesus), Dubrovnik and Split in Croatia as well as Kotor in Montenegro and Valletta in Malta.

The Equinox sails from Barcelona and Civitavecchia along the Italian Riviera. She visits Greek islands during the journey. Ten and eleven-day cruises lead to France, Spain, Portugal and Tangier (Morocco). Guests are offered extended layover times in the ports. Overnight stays are possible in La Spezia and Lisbon.
Celebrity Infinity
In the summer of 2026, the Celebrity Infinity will take eight to eleven-day trips from Piraeus to various Greek and Turkish destinations. Overnight stays are planned for Istanbul. - During the 2026/27 winter season, the Infinity will be based in Barcelona. From there, 13- and 14-day cruises will take you to the Canary Islands, Casablanca, Tangier and Gibraltar. Another destination is Funchal on Madeira.

Only the silhouette differs from the south-oriented destinations of the aforementioned fleet members. It offers eight-day Iceland cruises.
