August 13, 2020 - Costa Cruises is rehearsing the restart with two ships from Italian ports in September. The Costa Deliziosa and the Costa Diadema are starting their first cruises from Trieste and Genoa exclusively with Italian guests.

This drastic measure pursues the goal of offering guests, crew and residents of the cities visited the highest level of security. The trips, which only call at Italian ports, take seven days. The general break in operations for all further cruises will continue - as of today - until September 30, 2020. Costa informs the guests and travel agencies concerned. Guests are guaranteed a reimbursement of travel expenses in accordance with applicable legislation.

The departure dates of the Costa Deliziosa on September 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and the Costa Diadema on September 19th have been confirmed, further details on the itineraries will be announced shortly. In accordance with the Italian authorities, local institutions, health authorities, port authorities, ports and terminals and the RINA, Costa will ensure a responsible, smooth and well-organized application of the new regulations and protocols.
