July 12, 2023 - The Bremer Plantours cruises published their program for the MS Hamburg, Germany's smallest cruise ship. By the end of May 2025, the sprightly old-timer will have traveled across six continents. He crosses the equator three times and undertakes expeditions in arctic and antarctic waters.
MS Hamburg in the port of Bridgetown/Barbados
MS Hamburg was put into service in 1997. The 144 meter long ship holds almost four hundred guests with double occupancy. The advantage of this ship class: due to its size, there is a berth in almost every port. This also applies to the Great Lakes in the USA and Canada. The Great Lakes and their interesting destinations are only suitable for small ships. Another spectacular project is the 29-day journey from Cape Horn in South America until Cape of Good Hope in Africa.

Cape of Good Hope - Scenic Walk
Cruises through the Indian Ocean with stops in the Seychelles and multiple stops in India were included in the programme. And another piece of news: Plantours is calling at ports in Saudi Arabia for the first time. A total of three Saudi ports are on the route list.

MS Hamburg - on-board restaurant
MS Hamburg moves far away from mass tourism at sea. Last but not least, the on-board Zodiacs, which are suitable for exploring areas that are inaccessible on foot, speak for themselves. – In 2024, the company will celebrate its 35th anniversary as an operator of ocean and river cruises. When the new 214-page travel program is published, early bookers can look forward to attractive special prices.
