Five ships for the summer in Northern Europe
Guests who want to experience the magic of Northern Europe next summer are spoiled for choice: MSC Cruises offers five ships and more than 50 different routes - including breathtaking fjords, pulsating cities, historic capitals and breathtaking landscapes - with a huge selection of itineraries from three to 21 nights in length and a variety of embarkation ports. The MSC Magnifica will take over the cruises of the MSC Orchestra and offer the same routes from Hamburg with 10-, 11- and 14-night cruises. The ship is very popular in this region and has the covered Magrodome pool. The MSC Virtuosa, one of the company's newest ships, returns after a season in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar and enriches MSC Cruises' offerings in Northern Europe. The ship will replace the MSC Magnifica and will be positioned in Southampton, UK from May.
Diversity of routes and new destinations in the Mediterranean
Those who dream of the Mediterranean Sea, one of the most popular cruise regions in the world, can choose from more than 2022 routes in the 40 summer season, which the 14 glamorous, modern ships will sail over the course of the summer. This summer program is the most extensive that the shipping company has ever offered in the region, with a large selection of embarkation ports that allow guests from all over the world to arrive in comfort - from mini cruises to longer cruises of up to 21 nights.
New next summer will be a brand new route for the MSC Orchestra, which regularly calls at Lisbon. MSC is thus offering guests from Portugal the opportunity to depart from a local port throughout the summer season.
Be on the new 10-night route Genoa in Italy, Marseille in France, Málaga, Cadiz/Seville, Alicante I&II/ Costa Blanca and Mahon / Menorca in Spain, Lisbon in Portugal and Olbia on the emerald coast of Sardinia. Sales for the MSC Orchestra will begin shortly.
The ships MSC Grandiosa, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Opera, MSC Splendida, MSC Seaview and MSC Seaside will also be sailing in the western Mediterranean next summer and MSC Magnifica and MSC Poesia in autumn. The fleet members sail in the eastern Mediterranean MSC Musica, MSC Fantasia, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Armonia and MSC Lirica.
In the fall of 2022, the MSC Fantasia will be starting 11-night cruises Triest with calls in Izmir / Ephesus or Istanbul to offer. Since August 2020, guests of MSC Cruises have been traveling under the protection of the shipping company's industry-leading health and safety protocol, which was designed with the assistance of a commission of experts and has proven to be safe and effective in all developments of the pandemic. MSC highlights in Northern Europe in summer 2022 include:
• The MSC Virtuosa offers 7 to 14 night routes to the Norwegian fjords from Southampton (UK), to St. Petersburg, Sweden and Denmark and longer cruises to the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean Sea, the North Cape and some cruises with 3-4 nights.
• The MSC Grandiosa, which departs from Kiel, offers 7-night cruises. Highlights include a combination of routes with destinations like Copenhagen, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallinn and Flame in Norway.
• The MSC Preziosa, which departs from Kiel, offers travel routes between seven and eleven nights. The highlights include two alternative routes to the Norwegian fjords or to St. Petersburg via Tallinn, Helsinki and Stockholm.
• The MSC Poesia, which starts in Warnemünde, offers routes between seven and 14 nights, including 11-night cruises on which nine countries are visited (one overnight stay in Russia, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Estonia, Sweden and Denmark) , as well as longer cruises to St. Petersburg via Tallinn, Stockholm and Copenhagen and an epic 21-night cruise with many stops in Iceland and Greenland.
