May 9, 2023 - The Stuttgart nicko cruises inform that the ocean-going expedition ship WORLD VOYAGER leaves the fleet. This highly regrettable measure is justified by the fact that the minimum number of participants for expedition trips cannot be achieved in the long term. The ship is moving to sister company Atlas Ocean Voyages within Mystic Holding. The last cruise of the WORLD VOAGERS on the German market will take place from September 9th to 13th, 2023.
WORLD VOYAGER in the port of Terceira (Azores)/Azores
The ocean-going ship suitable for expeditions WORLD VOYAGER has been in use for nicko cruises Schiffsreisen GmbH since spring 2021. The ongoing recession in Germany and the associated subdued demand for high-priced cruises in the "Expedition" segment stand in the way of profitable operation of the comfortable cruise ship, which is designed for a maximum of 200 passengers. The ship owner, the Portuguese Mystic Holding, has decided that the WORLD VOYAGER will leave the nicko cruises fleet. In the future, the ship will serve Atlas Ocean Voyages' high demand for Antarctic cruises. this inside Fort Lauderdale/Floridaa resident cruise line primarily serves the English speaking market. Two ships are currently in use, the World Navigator and the World Traveler. More ships are planned.

The last voyage of WORLD VOYAGER for nicko cruises will take place from September 9th to 13th, 2023. The journey leads from Hamburg via Cuxhaven, Harlingen and Heligoland back to Hamburg.
