Cruise ship guests want constant innovations. The cruise lines are putting the tried and tested to the test. As for Carnival Celebration, the novelty is “The Gateway”. The Gateway includes a new entertainment and restaurant concept.

In the presentation by the PR agency, it sounds like this: “With its furnishings inspired by large, international train and airport terminals, The Gateway presents itself as a fascinating cosmos of different countries and cultures. A variety that will also be reflected in the twelve huge virtual multimedia windows that present a wide variety of scenarios along a promenade.”
During the day, the displays show relaxed images. In the evening, they take the ship's guests to distant places all over the world. Changing theme evenings change the visual impressions. Appropriate music from a state-of-the-art sound system paired with appropriate food and drinks complete the event. An example: At the Mexico Lindo evening, thanks to the technology, guests get to know old Mayan sites, lush jungles or Mexican dream beaches. The Celebration has a total of six entertainment and enjoyment areas.
