The EUROPA 2 from the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet has had its fourth time in the shipyard after being put into service in 2013 at Blohm+Voss in Hamburg completed. In addition to modernization and repair work, technical maintenance work was also carried out on the luxury ship. The "class", the ship's TÜV, has been renewed and some areas, including Club 2 and the Knopf Club, shine in new splendor. The furniture in the Grand Penthouse Suites underwent changes; light woodwork sets new accents. Today, the EUROPA 2 presents itself to guests in new splendor for the first time. From Hamburg, EUROPA 2 sets out on a six-day Baltic Sea voyage Kiel on. The journey leads among other things over Gdansk and Copenhagen.

Curtain up for the new Club 2
Whether readings, cabaret or comedy: from now on, Club 2, the bar and lounge area with a small stage, adapts atmospherically to the travel route. He keeps reinventing himself with a color and light concept. Warm earth tones from green to violet to brown give the room a sense of coziness. There are large wall panels on the walls, which are digitally displayed with changing content depending on the cruising area. Club 2 also takes its culinary cues from the trips. The crew serves a signature drink and small snacks appropriate to the destination. Those who want to watch the bartenders mix the drinks will be happy about the extension of the bar with additional seating at the counter. "Our goal is for our guests to immerse themselves in the cultures we have traveled to and enjoy them with all their senses," says Julian Pfitzner.
For bright children's eyes: Knopf Club is becoming more colourful
In the Knopf Club, professionally trained supervisors take care of the smallest guests on board. Two- and three-year-olds discover the world in the club. You explore on the new motif wallpaper z.
