The final details still need to be clarified in discussions with the commercial banks, and the upcoming measures are being implemented constructively and professionally.

On behalf of the owner family, the senior Bernard Meyer explained that the solution that has now been found is not easy for the family, but that the interests of the company are more important than those of the family. At the same time, Bernard Meyer explained that although the state would become the main shareholder, the family would have the opportunity to become a family business again thanks to the right of repurchase.

The management and the family are convinced that they will quickly move forward with the implementation of the solution proposed by the Chancellor. This will enable the framework for adopting the new structures and starting the reorganization and restructuring measures to be implemented as quickly as possible.
