August 18, 2021 - In July of this year, VASCO DA GAMA started its service with Baltic Sea cruises for the Stuttgart-based nicko cruises. Today another cruise in the Baltic Sea area starts from the Ostseekai in Kiel. Top destinations are Copenhagen, Stockholm and Tallinn. The 12-night trip ends in Bremerhaven.

The classic cruise ship put into service in 1993 is the former MS Statendam of Holland America Line. In 2015 the ship moved to P&O Australia within the Carnival group. The shipping company used it under the name Pacific Eden. It has been owned by the Portuguese group Mystic Invest since 2020.
