As announced last year, significant changes were made to the equipment and design in all cabins, suites and public areas. In addition, the shipping company donated a new open-air trattoria to the Riviera to optimize the range of restaurants.
Oceania Cruises operates under the motto “Exquisite cuisine. Selected travel experiences. Small, luxurious ships.” Six luxurious boutique ships. The fleet is divided into four small and two larger units. The Oceania Riviera belongs next to the Oceania Marina to the two "big" ships. She is a cruise ship of 239 meters in length. It is measured with 66.084 GT. The number of passengers is given as 1.250. 800 crew members take care of the well-being of the guests.

The Riviera made its maiden voyage in May 2012. It seemed appropriate to the shipping company to prescribe a comprehensive rejuvenation for the ship after ten years. All cabins and suites have a new look. They offer contemporary, spacious living comfort with custom-made furniture, wooden finishes and designer accents.
The first impressions:
- All cabins provide an elegant, warm and cozy feeling of home. They have been fitted with redesigned bathrooms and new furniture.
- All cabin bathrooms were fitted with Italian marble and bespoke fabrics in harmonious tones.
- The Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms and Veranda Staterooms are the ship's largest standard staterooms at 27 square meters.
- Public areas have been upgraded with new carpets and leather upholstered chairs.
- All lounges, bars and dining areas have been remodeled. The aim of the measure was to optimize the social and culinary experiences.
- The Grand Dining Room conveys a new sense of elegance with its glittering chandelier, rugs and plush leather chairs.
- A new trattoria was created outdoors. In the evenings, she offers different pizzas from the wood-fired oven, juicy grilled Italian specialties, tempting salads and delicious desserts in warm regions.

For the 2023/24 season, the shipping company is presenting a total of 25 Oceania Riviera cruises with a duration of 10 to 82 days. Destinations are Arabia, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines.
