P&O Cruises - Cruises can now be booked until March 2021


May 14, 2019 "British flair - Enjoy the vacation of your life with us" - these are the words P&O Cruises uses to woo German cruise customers. From now on, cruises can be booked on the currently seven ships in the fleet until March 2021. From May 2020 on, the P&O Iona, the future flagship, will also be available for travel as the eighth cruise ship.

The P&O Iona clearly exceeds the previous flagship, the P&O Britannia, in size. The MEYER shipyard in Papenburg is currently working on the new building. The P&O Iona will be measured at around 180.000 GT. The cruise ship powered by LNG liquefied natural gas can carry up to 5.200 passengers. The maiden voyage should take place in May 2020.

P&O Iona completes its first summer season with one-week Northern Europe cruises from / to Southampton. Then it will run several times in the Canary Islands region in autumn 2020.

The approximately 3.000 passengers P&O Oceana is used in the Persian Gulf as well as in the western and eastern Central At the turn of the year 2020/21 there is a two-week cruise from / to Dubai intended. In P&O Britannia is heading for Caribbean destinations in March 2021. The trips lead among others by Saint Lucia to Barbados. As intermediate goals are St. Kitts, Antigua (Antilles) and St. Maarten controlled.
