Summer is the best time of year for cruising in the far north. This statement applies equally to all of the Nordic destinations visited by PONANT ships: the fjords and glaciers of Spitsbergen, the west coast of Iceland, the legendary American east coast and, last but not least, the legendary Greenland. Also on offer are six brand new routes to explore the Faroe Islands, Canada and the Great Lakes region of North America. In addition to the special land destinations, highlights are guided excursions and landings with Zodiacs or hikes and tours with kayaks. A German-speaking instructor is available on most departures. PONANT is famous for its modern expedition ships on which guests will find a successful mixture of elegance, personal atmosphere, comfort and the French way of life. All trips to the Arctic taking place in the summer of 2024 can now be booked at travel agencies.
