Karl WP Beyer March 1, 2025 – PortMiami is celebrating another record year. In the last cruise season, more than 8,2 million passengers visited the terminals along the elongated harbor basin.

The Port of Miami's fiscal year runs from October of the previous year to September of the following year. For the 2023/2024 season, the port administration counted a total of 8.233.056 passengers. This represents an increase of 12,79 percent compared to the previous year, which was already celebrated as a record year. Miami can therefore rightly celebrate itself as the cruise capital of the world.

A further increase is expected for the current season. This is due not least to the commissioning of new handling areas, especially the new AA terminal of MSC Cruises. Once completed, it will be the largest in the world.
