November 22, 2022 - With 280 ship calls, Cruise Gate Hamburg GmbH (CGH) reports the strongest season in Hamburg's cruise history. More than 750.000 passengers are expected to pass through the cruise terminals by the end of the year. Other passengers arrived on 41 river boats.
In the current year, the CGH recorded the best season ever. The 280 calls by ocean-going cruise ships are expected to require more than 750.000 passengers. The port reports 49 different cruise ships, ten of which called at the port of Hamburg for the first time. In 2019, the year before Corona, only 210 ships were counted. For 2023, the port administration expects 284 ship calls. In addition, 37 river cruise ships can be assumed.

Cruise Terminal Steinwerder
