Travel to Yokohama with Costa Venezia

March 2, 2018 - The experts at the Italian Fincantieri shipyard are working flat out on the completion of the cruise ship Costa Venezia, which was specially designed for the Chinese market. Its maiden voyage is scheduled to start on March 8, 2019 in Trieste and end on April 29, 2019 in Yokohama, Japan. The maiden voyage can now be booked for German guests.

The Costa Venezia is Costa's first ship to be built for the thriving Chinese cruise market. After the introductory voyage, the ship will only be used on the Chinese market. According to the shipping company, the trip from Italy to Japan is a unique opportunity for European guests to get to know the new building. For the design, the planners were inspired by the lagoon city of Venice.

The journey begins in the Mediterranean. The list of destinations includes Dubrovnik, Greece, Israel, the Suez Canal, Jordan and Oman. After stops in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, we continue to India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
