TUI Cruises' eighth ship is called Mein Schiff Relax

October 16, 2023 - The sparrows were already whistling from the rooftops that the eighth ship in the TUI Cruises fleet would probably not be called Mein Schiff 8. Now the name has been decided: the new building will be called “Mein Schiff Relax”.

The eighth ship in the Mein Schiff fleet, the first of the InTUItion class, will, if the various advance announcements are to be believed, offer even more diverse worlds of enjoyment and relaxation than the previous ships. Potential guests are promised “an even more varied journey through high-quality worlds of enjoyment and relaxation”. The Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone is working to offer users “new and even more opportunities to retreat to architecturally spectacular oases of well-being and to experience pleasure in a new way.”

Mein Schiff Relax "embodies the further development of everything that we have stood for for almost ten years with the new buildings in the Mein Schiff fleet," says Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises. The Hamburg shipping company took enough time for the first new building InTUItion class only the name Mein Schiff Relax would come into question.

The eighth ship is scheduled to take delivery at the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025.
