TUI Cruises – the restaurant concept for the eighth ship


August 5, 2023 – TUI Cruises fans will need a lot of patience until the eighth ship in the fleet is completed and leaves the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. TUI Cruises is using the time to fuel enthusiasm for and interest in the new ship with finely distributed information.

New pleasure highlights on the eighth ship promise more culinary variety. The shipping company speaks of diverse pleasure experiences in different, included and exclusive restaurants.

Let's start with the main restaurant: The main restaurant, which is included in the cruise price, with service at your seat and multi-course menus, will in future be located on two decks at the stern of the ship. It is open for lunch and dinner. It will be spacious and offer an incredible view. At breakfast, guests have the choice of enjoying their meal at their seat or choosing from the buffet. The highlight is an adjoining bar for an aperitif or after-dinner schnapps.

Other restaurants include a buffet restaurant, a Mediterranean and an Alpine restaurant and a steakhouse with a Scandinavian ambience.

New on offer is a Greek restaurant with outdoor and indoor areas, which is not subject to a surcharge. Its menu ranges from gyros to tsatsiki to ouzo.

Another new feature on board is the French bistro, which is also included in the price. His trademarks: fresh croissants, coq au vin and legendary cassoulet stew.

The Hanami by Tim Raue is still subject to a surcharge. The star chef's well-established restaurant offers high quality Asian cuisine. New to the Hanami are the completely changed design and the digital virtual reality experience concept. A digital conférencier guides you through the menu. In addition, space-changing projections and soundscapes round off the culinary journey through the cuisine of the Far East. – Another innovation: After dinner, the restaurant turns into a club. As you can hear, music, light and exclusive cocktails create a special atmosphere. True to the motto, experience pleasure in a new way!
