Around Great Britain: Crime and Classic on the EUROPA
- Crime trip with the Thalia Theater
- Exclusive country concert with Christiane Karg
Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot are Agatha Christie's most famous characters. During a 14-day EUROPA cruise to Great Britain, actors from Hamburg's Thalia Theater take the guests into the British writer's crime thriller world with readings. In addition to four crime evenings, the trip also offers a musical highlight: an exclusive concert by Christiane Karg at Osbourne House on the Isle of Wight.

From July 5th to 19th, guests on board the EUROPA will walk in the footsteps of Agatha Christie. Marie Löcker, Jörg Pohl, Birte Schnöink, Wolf-Dietrich Sprener and Victoria Trautmannsdorff, ensemble members of the Hamburg Thalia Theater, slip into the roles of famous crime heroes for their readings. Since five o'clock tea, garden art and rugged coastlines are just as much a part of Great Britain as exciting crime novels, other program items are also coordinated with the travel route from Hamburg via England, Ireland and Scotland to Kiel. Garden expert Günter Mader leads through English gardens, golfers play on the lush greens of the islands and a tea expert celebrates the typical five o'clock tea.
The musical highlight of the trip is experienced by the guests at Queen Victoria's former country residence. Christiane Karg presents her new album "Amoretti" exclusively at Osbourne House on the Isle of Wight. The Arcangelo Orchestra will accompany the soprano.
