Royal Caribbeans advertisers come to the conclusion that the ships of the Vision Class impress with their “personal” ambience. You see “symphonies of light” where the sober observer perceives glass domes, skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows.

It is always light during the day. The one in the rear of the ship has a light and representative effect Centrum. This noble open space, extending over five decks, is the focus of daytime activities. In the evenings it is a place for high-quality entertainment and a place for fascinating artistic shows. - All areas of the ship can be easily accessed from the center. Digital, interactive guidance systems support guests with orientation.

The varied entertainment offer means that there is no boredom on board. On the occasion of the shipyard stay, the ship was given a huge movie screen in the outdoor area by the pool. - In addition, the ship has been equipped with WiFi across the board since the last stay in the shipyard.

The space available on the open decks is respectable. The pool in the covered solarium deserves special praise. This is a rest area reserved for adults. Sporty natures are drawn to the on-board fitness center, the 400-meter jogging track, the 12-hole mini golf course or the climbing wall.

Before sailing in the Mediterranean in the summer of 2013, the Legend of the Seas was in Asia for six years. In winter 2013/2014 she was used in the Caribbean and toured through the Panama Canal. She completed the 2014 summer season in Northern Europe. On September 7th, 2014 the ship will leave Europe for the USA.

The Legend first called at the Port of Hamburg on August 10, 2014. There we could visit the ship.

Our conclusion:

The Legend of the Seas is a cruise ship as we like it. Although it is designed to provide accommodation and entertainment to almost 2.000 people over a length of 264 meters, it is one of the most beautiful and lightest cruise ships we know in the large-volume ship market. The size and equipment "fit" here. The interior was stylishly and harmoniously tailored to the needs of travelers from all over the world.

The ship has been sailing under the name since October 2017 Marella Discovery 2 for the British cruise company Marella Cruises, a TUI Group company
