Our cruise with the Celebrity Eclipse starts and ends in Buenos Aires. We have never been this far south on the South American continent. But you can also go further south. Stops on our trip are: Punta del Este, Puerto Madryn, Cape Horn, Ushuaia, the Strait of Magellan, Punta Arenas and Montevideo. This route is probably not only very special for us. Who has circumnavigated Cape Horn in their life?

Arrival in Buenos Aires
The day before our trip begins, we fly to Buenos Aires with Air France. With a time difference of minus four hours, we land at Jorge Newbery airport late in the evening at eleven o'clock Argentine time. From this airport it is only eight kilometers to the center. There is also the hotel where we booked a room for our first night in Buenos Aires. We take a taxi and arrive shortly before midnight. We like the hotel, our room is very good and spacious. Although we are completely overtired, we have a beer in a quaint bar across from the hotel. We sit outside and enjoy the warm temperatures even at night.
