In the evening we fly from Düsseldorf via Munich to Hong Kong and land in Hong Kong the next day around five in the afternoon. The time difference is plus seven hours. In Hong Kong everything goes smoothly. Our luggage arrives quickly, and we pass immigration without any problems. Everything is well organized and regulated at the airport in Hong Kong. The information for arriving passengers via local public transport or taxis is exemplary. We exchange some money and take a taxi for around 30 EUR to the Cruise Terminal Kai Tak.
Hong Kong Kai Tak Terminal
At the new cruise terminal Kai Tak
We are there at 18:30pm The terminal has not been in operation for very long and is partly under construction. Hong Kong International Airport used to be here. The distances are long and the infrastructure, such as connections to local public transport, is not as perfect as everything else in Hong Kong. But the Celebrity Millennium waiting for us, as well as friendly staff who take care of us and our luggage.
We don't do much anymore. Our cabin is of course ready, everything is perfectly arranged.

In the buffet restaurant we have a bite to eat, unpack our things and take a tour of the Millennium. At 23pm we are in bed. Sleeping is difficult due to the time difference.
