Two days at sea lie ahead of us. We spend the morning of the first day in the solarium. This is a covered area with a pool and two whirlpools that is particularly beautifully designed. It is very quiet in the solarium, even the announcements are suppressed.

Pure relaxation
The loungers in the solarium Celebrity Millennium are equipped with thick cushions, which is inviting and comfortable. They should not be reserved for unnecessarily long, a pool butler will ensure that this rule is enforced. This means that you can always find a free lounger because after 30 minutes the items on the lounger are cleared away. Nobody has to do it themselves, you just inform the pool butler. This system should apply to every ship. At the Celebrity Millennium, it will definitely be enforced in the solarium.
On the second day at sea we don't really get going in the morning. We have a time difference of one hour. In addition, the Captain's Club invited guests to a backstage tour of the theater in the morning.

The tour of the theater begins at 9:00am We really want to see that. So we just have a bite to eat and first do our sightseeing. The members of the dance group and the singers are extremely nice.
They explain very well how the shows came about and also provide information on their personal development. We look into the changing rooms, the sewing room and the costume store. The stage technology is also impressive. Good thing we went.
Chinese New Year Parade and Party
Today the Chinese New Year is celebrated. In the evening there is a parade in the Grand Foyer, which is brightly decorated with garlands and lanterns. An (almost) real lion performs with the cruise director, and later the party continues by the pool.

In between there is a very good vocal group in the theater. The Mersey Boys from Liverpool specialize in songs by famous Liverpool bands such as the Beatles or Gary and the Pacemakers.
